Item Description
16 pieces spanning 1930s -1970s and sizes from 7/8" brass "Yellow Cab Co." buttons (4) to a tin frame 3x5" with fold-out easel and paper monthly sheets for 1948. Frame text for "Checker Taxi" with local phone numbers. Next is 1.5" diameter compact with enamel taxi styled vehicle on the hinged lid. Interior has powder, puff and mirror. Next are four "Yellow Cab Co." brass uniform buttons. Next are three early pencils all with "Yellow Cab" ads. Following are three plastic swizzles sticks, also for "Yellow Cab". Next is mechanical pencil for "Bus and Taxi Service" and then most recent item in lot is a pen for "Car Service". Last two items are Yellow Cab, Durham, NC cards holding "2 Years" and "3 Years" Durham Safety Awards with threaded post and screw cap reverses. All VF to Mint. Nice group.
