Item Description
5.5x22x1.5" deep box features great "Tom Corbett Space Cadet" images and name on both sides as well as graphics of gun. Box shows obvious wear and is missing all but one inner flap and both end flaps (one included) w/partial edge split. Good/VG overall but main panel remains nice for display. 21.25" long hard plastic/tin litho sparking rifle has "Official Tom Corbett Space Gun" and Rockhill Productions copyright. c. 1950s. Very futuristic design w/tin litho images of "Rocket-Loading Chamber, Ray Adjuster, Positional Indicator, Range Finder" and other details. Attached "sights" have built-in spring. Wind-up mechanism w/built-in key is contained in forward grip. Works w/popping sounds but gun no longer sparks due to missing flint. Bright, glossy and Exc. Wonderful futuristic design.
