Item Description
10.75x12.75x3.75" deep box has illustrations of "Cosmic Vision Helmet" and spacecraft holding Tom Corbett Space Cadet cast. Practi-Cole Products, Inc. c. 1950s. Box is evenly aged and shows just lt. wear w/creases at corner and some lt. scattered edge/corner tip wear. Still clean, tight and VF. Helmet itself measures 11.5x10" and is made from a thin sheet of plastic and vacuformed accent pieces indicating audio receptors and a vacuform top w/Space Cadet symbol and "Space Helmet" text pressed into plastic. Bottom piece was issued in either blue or yellow; this set comes w/yellow. Scattered wear and aging to reflective surface of helmet, mainly in the form of small surface dents. Fine/VF. Rare due to fragile nature.
