Item Description
Original cardboard mailer contains ring w/adjustable brass base featuring space designs and raised "Flying Saucer" text. Top has launching spinner and original string as well as pair of "Flying Saucer" discs, each about 2" dia. Both have "Flying Saucer" name on blades; one is plain aluminum while other has luminous material on underside that still glows brightly. This is version issued by Power House candy in 1951 rather than Post Toasties cereal premium. Mailer has address label and shows obvious wear, missing all inner flaps and end flap from one end. Good/VG. Illustrated 4x5" paper instruction folder has scattered wear as folded inside box and some aging, but is complete w/unused order blank. VG/Fine. Ring has wear to red paint on launching spinner but o/w base retains near full luster and is VF overall. Rare as boxed and complete.
