Item Description
8.25x15" artboard has mixed media original art for 19 prototype buttons in three sizes - 5/8", 7/8" and 1.25" dia. Early 1940s. Two smaller sizes have seven examples each while 1.25" size has five. Each has penciled player/team name below - Dixie Walker, John Cooney, Frank McCormack, Thornton Lee, Al Smith, Lou Boudreau, Billy Weber, Tommy Hughes, Bill Voiselle, Stan Musial, Claude Passeau, Melvin Ott, Lou Novekoff, Billy Sullivan, Johnny Hop, Vernon Gomez, Harold Newhauser, Dick Newsom and unnamed image in bottom right corner. Some lt. scattered dust soiling but art remains Exc. Unique art featuring five baseball HOF members. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
