Item Description
23-1/8x35-1/8" poster for the 1965 Monterey Jazz Festival. Poster features stylized image of jazz trumpeter by Earl Newman, whose art graced several Monterey Jazz Festival posters. Newman is also known for his theater posters and nature prints. Newman's facsimile signature appears along lower right margin. Left margin has 1.5" tear at center and .5" tear closer to bottom. Upper right margin has .75" tear. Scattered handling wear. Fine.
