Item Description
23x35" poster for the 1966 Monterey Jazz Festival which took place Sept. 16-17, 1966. Poster features stylized image of jazz musician by Earl Newman, whose art graced several Monterey Jazz Festival posters. Newman is also known for his theater posters and nature prints. Newman's facsimile signature appears along upper right margin. 1.25" tear at top margin, left of center. 1" margin tear just above Newman's name at upper right and .5" margin tear at bottom left. Scattered handling wear. Fine overall.
