Item Description
8.25x13x5.25" deep box w/illustrated lid contains 10" tall tin litho Godzilla w/painted vinyl moving jaw, vinyl spines and attached hard plastic remote control. Made in Japan for the Japanese market by Bullmark, ©Toho Co. Ltd. 1960s. This is first box design, featuring art image of Godzilla destroying city, additional images on side panels. Box shows obvious wear w/numerous edge/corner creases to lid, which has some concave warping/rippling and scattered age spotting. Fine. Toy is complete w/Toho Godzilla logo paper label on tail. All functions work, including walking action, arms move, roar produced, lighted mouth opens and closes, smoke emits from mouth. Remote battery box has had professional repair to area containing operating button, does not affect display or operation. Tiny piece off of one of battery box hinges. Tiny paint rub to top of Godzilla's head, o/w bright clean and VF/Exc. Classic Japanese battery toy.
