Item Description
Exceptional lot of prototypes for 1930s Rice Krispies premium includes 4x6.25" envelope design and five different 3.5x6" tattoo transfer sheets featuring mixed media original art. Envelope is on stiff brown paper w/original art in black ink on front/back; front reading "Snap Crackle Pop Present A Series Of Mother Goose Tattoo Transfers" and includes illustrations of these four characters. Back has complete and extensive hand-done lettering describing the premium, illustrated instructions for applying the transfers and back flap even has order coupon. Each of the transfer sheets feature great pen and ink/watercolor original art of Snap, Crackle and Pop depicted as and w/nursery rhyme characters, all w/hand-lettered title. Four of the sheets feature eight different designs, two of the sheets feature four larger designs for a total of 32.
