Item Description
14x20.5" frame. Typed letter on Hoover's personal stationary is dated "January 2, 1943" and signed boldly at conclusion "Herbert Hoover" in black fountain pen ink. Light even fading of ink. Extremely Fine. Letter is addressed to "Ferne" the wife of Albert C. Mattei, an important business figure in San Francisco, who was the President of the Honolulu Consolidated Oil Co. and a close friend of Hoover. Included in this beautiful framed display are three Presidential campaign tokens. Comes w/Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
