Item Description
Major Jet was a Sci-Fi hero created to promote General Mills' "Sugar Jets" cereal in the mid-1950s. Offered here is a near complete 6-5/8x8-3/8x2.25" deep 10 oz. size box (missing bottom flaps) that has cut-out "Major Jet's Magic Decoder" glasses on front panel and "Seashore Scramble Puzzle on back. Three smaller puzzles are also featured as is "Major Jet's Secret Message. "Box shows scattered aging/wear and is Fine overall but remains nice for display. Rare. This is the actual example shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA. Comes w/5.25x7.5" premium folder titled "Major Jet's Magic Paint Set" that opens to reveal three pictures to paint and color guides. This is first book in series of three. Paints were available as "Sugar Jets" premiums. Unused and NM.
