Item Description
"Sky Raiders" was a 12-chapter Universal movie serial released in 1941. Directed by Ford Beebe and Ray Taylor, it starred Donald Woods, Billy Halop, Robert Armstrong and Eduardo Ciannelli. Offered here are pair of promotional items distributed at movie theaters showing the serial. 1.25" dia. cello button features airplanes w/"Philadelphia Badge" maker name on curl. Glossy and NM. 8.5" long stiff paper airplane w/pair of cardboard attachments. Text on wings notes showings at Huntington Paramount Theater. Sides feature illustrations of passengers at windows and instructions are printed on underside of one wing. A rubberband was used to launch the plane. Some lt. wear but still VF/Exc. overall. Rare.
