Item Description
11x14" stiff sheet of paper w/mixed media original art has image area measuring 7.25x11" and features Fred and Wilma Flintstone presenting a piece of chewing gum, Fred's hand has been die-cut to hold an actual piece of individually wrapped Care-Free Peppermint Gum. Art was created by animator Don Patterson (1909-1998), who worked at various animation studios during the Golden Age of animation, including Disney (working on "Pinocchio, Fantasia" and "Dumbo"), MGM, Walter Lantz and Hanna-Barbera, working at Hanna-Barbera from 1960 to 1988. Art has hand-lettered "Many... Happy Returns, Ed Morton" presentation text and Patterson has signed art at lower right, adding "'74" date. Lower left corner of sheet has some tape staining, but art remains clean and Exc. Wonderful presentation original art.
