Item Description
16x17.75" die-cut thin cardboard sign that most likely hung in factory tool rooms to stress important war conservation effort of tools/tooling. Sign features stereotypical depiction of Japanese soldier at left and Hitler at right, flanking "Broken Tools Work For The Axis" text. Sign is evenly aged and has pin holes at top corners and top center. Scattered handling creases and some small areas of surface paper lift. Fine overall. First we've seen in our 52 years.
