Item Description
8.5x11" cardstock retailer's promotional folder features large image of the 1933 "King Kong" as well as Universal Monsters Frankenstein, Wolf Man and Dracula on front. Folder opens to reveal images of General Mills cereals Franken Berry, Boo Berry, Count Chocula and Fruit Brute, w/their cartoon mascots standing beside images. Text at top reads "Presenting The Unbeatable Monster Team Of The 70' & 80's," noting upcoming release of 12 oz. size box in late Spring, 1976. Back features different images of all four cereal boxes and mascots. Two different cereal premiums are featured on box images - "Funny Monster Face Set" and "Mini Whiz Ring." Despite General Mills not having a cereal w/a giant ape, King King was likely featured to coincide w/the 1976 "King Kong" film that was in theaters. Folder has some scattered handling wear w/corner crease at bottom left and some minor color rubs, but still Fine/VF overall. Rare due to limited distribution. First we've seen.
