Item Description
8.25" tall tin toy that came in several styles and this is variety w/body in gunmetal gray w/red face, hands/arms and legs w/black feet. Made in Japan by Nomura, c. 1957. Designed w/wire coil antenna attached across top of head and wire antenna on backpack that manually extends upwards. Robot holds metal wrench in one hand (professional replacement from Tin Toy Works of Allentown PA) and is nicely detailed w/lightbulbs for eyes. Toy works well; eyes light and robot walks. Robot shows lt. scattered wear in the form of small paint nicks/scratches and is VF overall. Classic robot toy.
