Item Description
27x41" poster for the original 1957 release of the American International Pictures Sci-Fi classic directed by Edward L. Cahn and starring Steven Terrell, Gloria Castillo and Frank Gorshin. Classic 1950s poster by Albert Kallis features two of the large-headed aliens, one holding swooning woman below "Creeping Horror... From The Depths Of Time And Space!" text. Flying saucers shine rays down on fleeing city populace in bkg. Great promotional text at bottom reads "See Teenagers Vs. The Saucer-Men! See Disembodied Hand That Crawls...! See Night The World Nearly Ended! See Earth Attacked By Flying Saucers!" Poster was originally folded and has been linen-mounted w/professional border restoration that includes restoration to bottom credits area, but all text remains original. Poster has color touch-ups along fold lines and at top fold crease intersection. Two approx. 1" areas of vertical rippling below first two letters of "Saucer" in title. Still displays Exc. as linen-mounted. Classic Sci-Fi movie poster.
