Item Description
The turtle body is 2-3/8" long cast iron with original gold paint. Joined to the top is an oval celluloid 1-5/8" wide designed like a shell. Text advertises a firm started in 1883 selling hay trolleys which grew into company providing barn equipment under the name Star Line Goods with this logo in use around 1909. Long ago a safety pin was soldered on the underside. This is gone except for a short wire and two small spots of solder. Iron has minor surface oxidation on turtle's underside, but all other metal areas and the shell are NM. Tiny text for W&H 1904 patent.
