Item Description
1.5x2.25" Cuban card produced for the Aguilitas Cigarette brand and a follow-up to the 1924-1925 series. The baseball cards are a subset featuring 37 players from the Cuban Professional League. This extensive 900 card set also featured movie and stage stars, boxers, soccer players and other subjects.

Chacon played 25 seasons in Cuba between 1908 and 1932. He ranks fourth in Cuban League history in stolen bases and led the league with a batting average of .344 in 1920-21. He managed Cienfuegos in 1929-30 when Negro League star Cool Papa Bell led the team to the Cuban League pennant. He was inducted into the Cuban Baseball HOF in 1949. Designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
