Item Description
1.5x2.25" Cuban card produced for the Aguilitas Cigarette brand and a follow-up to the 1924-1925 series. The baseball cards are a subset featuring 37 players from the Cuban Professional League. This extensive 900 card set also featured movie and stage stars, boxers, soccer players and other subjects.
Echarri won the championship for Cuba in the International Games in 1926 on a walk-off home run, making him a national hero. Designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
