Item Description
1.5x2-3/8" Cuban card produced for the Aguilitas Cigarette brand. The baseball cards are a subset featuring 44 players from the Cuban Professional League. This extensive 900 card set also featured movie and stage stars, boxers and other subjects.
Emilio Palmero played in the Cuban Leagues for eight seasons with Almendares, Habana, and Almendares and part of one season in MLB with the Boston Red Sox. Palmero was inducted into the Cuban Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1954. Designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
