Item Description
Pair of 24x30" glossy posters on thick stock produced by Snuff Garrett (1938-2015), renowned Los Angeles record producer who owned the issuing company Nostalgia Merchant., Inc. "King Of The Cowboys - Roy Rogers" poster is ©1977 and features center photo of Roy w/guns drawn surrounded by seven vignettes of him, Trigger, Dale Evans, Gabby Hayes and Bullet. Signed "Happy Trails - Roy Rogers And Trigger" in black felt tip pen (which has aged to brown in color). Handwritten "Artist Proof" notation at lower left. Rolled w/some margin wear including .5" tear just right of bottom center. Could easily be matted out for nice display. Fine overall. "America's Favorite Cowboy - Gene Autry" is ©1982 and features nine movie scenes featuring Autry and Champion. Boldly signed "Best Wishes, Gene Autry" at center in black felt tip pen. Rolled w/some scattered handling/corner tip wear but this could easily be matted out for VF display. Both are from a small quantity of un-numbered artist's proofs. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA.
