Item Description
4x7" original matte photo picturing New York Giants Manager, John McGraw, posing on a baseball field during the 1910s era. McGraw enjoyed an excellent playing career with the Baltimore club during the 1890s. Beginning in 1902, McGraw would manage the National League's New York Giants for a total of 30 seasons, finally retiring in 1932. McGraw would be elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1937. Photo exhibits two very rough edges along with a few surface wrinkles which do not detract from the overall appearance. Back of photo just has a couple of very brief photographer's notes. VG. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
