Item Description
8-1/8x9" original glossy photo picturing Washington Senators Hall of Fame manager, Bucky Harris along with rookie Willy Miranda and Mr. Miranda (Willy's dad). The Senators would finish in seventh place during 1951 with a record of 68-86. Bucky would finish his managerial career after 29 seasons in 1956 with a final record of 2,158 - 2,219. Miranda would move around the American League several times during his career, never really showing enough hitting ability to be an everyday ballplayer. Photo has only left and right borders, it appears that the top and bottom were cut off. Back of photo identifies the individuals along with remnants of vintage tape along the edges. Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
