Item Description
3.5x5-1/8" matte paper premium depicting Cuban baseball great, Miguel Gonzalez. Beginning his professional baseball career with the Fe ball club in Cuba during the 1910 season, Gonzalez would star there for the next couple of winters until being traded to Habana during the 1913-14 season. From that point, Gonzalez would be affiliated with Habana as both a player and later as a manager for the next 35 years. Premium has a stray mark in the center of the top edge along with a couple of paper scratches affecting the central image. Back of premium is blank except for a small "2" written in red ink in the upper right-hand corner. Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
