Item Description
8-7/8x11.25" vintage program depicting a representation of George Washington on the cover and holding a balanced scale with a Yankees ballplayer on one side and a Dodgers ballplayer on the other. Lots of info pertaining the two teams along with photographs of all ballplayers adorn the inside of this wonderful piece. Centerfold has a fully scored card with pre-printed line ups as follows: (Yankees) - Sturm (1B), Rizzuto (SS), Henrich (RF), DiMaggio (CF), Dickey (C), Selkirk (LF), Gordon (2B), Priddy (3B), Ruffing (P); (Dodgers) - Walker (RF), Herman (2B), Reiser (CF), Camilli (1B), Medwick (LF), Lavagetto (3B), Reese (SS), Owen (C), Higbe (P). Program is in fine overall condition but, unfortunately, has a large chunk missing from the lower-right hand corner of the front cover. Some water staining is also visible on the front cover as well. Good/VG. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
