6-5/8x9.75" vintage publication depicting local retail and food advertising along with excerpts on how to keep score at a ball game. Although the program cover denotes New York Giants, this particular example was modified to include a centerfold score card for the New York Black Yankees (Negro League team) vs. the New York Cubans (Negro League team). Line-ups are as follows: (Black Yankees) - Baker (LF), Hardy (SS), Smith (RF), Parris (3B), Crowe (1B), Hayes (C), Patterson (CF), Richardson (2B), Stanley (P); (Cubans) - Minoso (3B), Page (CF), Cabrera (1B), Duany (RF), Garcia (SS),Diaz (2B), Clark (LF), Noble (C), Barnhill (P). Program is in overall very nice shape with minor foxing throughout. Front cover has a few notations in ink, score card remains clean and unscored. VG. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
