Item Description
9.25x11.5" program/yearbook originating from Mexico and providing many of the only known images of numerous Hispanic ballplayers who made this country their winter home. A total of four league ball clubs are presented here: Merida, Estrellas Yucatecas, Motul & Campeche. Each of the four teams identifies all ballplayers and includes brief player biographies and photos. Batting and fielding records for the winter league season are presented for each club. Also included inside is an "Honor Roll" of the league's top individual performers: Fernando Rodriguez, Manolo Fortes, Aldo Salvent, Alberto Ala, Ultus Alvarez, Raul Galata, Conrado Perez & Jorge R. Lopez. Many local businesses submitted clever advertising graphics to help promote their companies. The front and back covers exhibit most of the wear with a few minor tears and overall foxing along with minor corner and edge wear. Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
