Item Description
8.5x10-7/8" vintage program/yearbook covering all four of the traditional Cuban League baseball powers, Habana, Mariano, Almendares and Cienfuegos. All four teams have their entire roster of ballplayers pictured along with short biographies for each. Among the most noteworthy participants for this season were: Miguel Gonzalez, Cocaina Garcia, Chiquitin Cabrera, Jose Fernandez Sr., Pedro Formental, Alejandro Crespo, Silvio Garcia and Julio Rojo. Both team as well as individual batting and pitching statistics are covered at the end of the program as well as a recap along with team photos of the Caribbean Series. Lots of local business advertising appears inside as well. Condition of this program is very nice, front/back cover has become completely separated from the spine but remains otherwise intact. Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
