Item Description
27x40.75" stone litho poster printed by Otis Lithograph Co., 1929. Poster features great portrait image of noted magician Grover George (1887-1958), an owl perched on his shoulder whispers in his ear. Bats fly in bkg. and another owl and two devils sit perched in branch above George's head. Poster advertises "Triumphant American Tour" which ultimately did not come to pass. As such, the majority of these posters were destroyed, making it a scarce piece of magic history. Poster has been linen-mounted and has not had any restoration. Poster has lt. even aging and exhibits some minor scattered edge wear w/a few tiny nicks/tears. VF/Exc. as linen-mounted.
