Item Description
27x41" poster for original release of 1968 concert film that was "Filmed At The Monterey International Pop Festival By D.A. Pennebaker" as noted at bottom of poster. Featured performers include Big Brother and the Holding Company w/Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane, Otis Redding, The Mamas & The Papas, The Who and The Jimi Hendrix Experience, whose namesake set his guitar on fire on stage. Poster features cartoon image of topless woman exploding large flower by Tomi Ungerer. Poster has been boldly signed by director Pennebaker at lower left. Poster has been rolled and has scattered handling and margin wear w/strip of tape along margin at lower left on back. Fine overall. Comes with Hake's COA.
