Item Description
1.5x2.25" Cuban card produced for the Aguilitas Cigarette brand and a follow-up to the 1924-1925 series. The baseball cards are a subset featuring 37 players from the Cuban Professional League. This extensive 900 card set also featured movie and stage stars, boxers, soccer players and other subjects.
One of only 4 in the SGC census.
Perez was a regular infielder for the Cuban Stars team in the Negro National League throughout the 1920's. Pepin is documented as having played first base, second base, third base, shortstop, catcher and even pitcher. Designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
