Item Description
1.5x1.75" w/bw photo front and text back w/player information. These were issued in matchboxes. Over 100 cards in the set and numerous photo and back varieties exist. Variety in text on back and crisper photo.
One of only 3 in the SGC census.
Gionfrido spent four seasons in the Major Leagues, playing for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Brooklyn Dodgers from 1944-47. Designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
