Item Description
1.5x1.75" w/bw photo front and text back w/player information. These were issued in matchboxes. Over 100 cards in the set and numerous photo and back varieties exist.
One of only 2 in the SGC census.
In his only season in the Negro Leagues, this first baseman/outfielder hit .302 with the 1950 New York Cubans. Most of Gonzalez's career was spent in Mexico where he was a consistent .300 hitter. Designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
