Item Description
1.5x1.75" w/bw photo front and text back w/player information. These were issued in matchboxes. Over 100 cards in the set and numerous photo and back varieties exist.

One of only 10 in the SGC census.

Manning began his Negro League pitching career with the Kansas City Monarchs in 1938 and would star for them throughout the 1940s. Max was nicknamed "Dr. Cyclops" because of his thick glasses. Designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
