Item Description
8x10" vintage silver gelatin photo depicts two members of the University of Miami coaching staff along w/three other men in formal attire. "Fotos RFM Habana" photographer's credit on back. Highlight of photo is the inclusion of Baseball HOF great Jimmie Foxx, standing on the far right. Foxx would finish his MLB career w/a .325 career batting average along w/534 home runs and 1,922 RBIs. He was elected to the HOF in 1951. Others identified via handwritten notes on the back of the photo include - Tom Osborne, James High, Mr. Miller and Romero Fouts. Some lt. corner tip wear and slight scattered margin wear. VF. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
