Item Description
Rare 2.25" no maker, with brass luster back and bar pin. Back holds 4" ribbon with "Official" in bright gold. This 1958 Braves club won their second consecutive National League pennant with a record of 92-62 under manager Fred Haney. The Braves offense was led by a pair of National Baseball Hall of Fame sluggers who would both go on to hit over 500 home runs, "Hammerin Hank" Aaron and Eddie Mathews along with a third Cooperstown enshrine, Red Schoendienst. The mound corps was led by the great Hall of Fame lefty Warren Spahn. Milwaukee would go on to lose the World Series to the powerful New York Yankees in seven games.  Two tiny age dots on very bottom button edge and one barely seen at top just right of 12 o'clock. About 98% remains bright, clean and glossy. VF. Paul Muchinsky Collection Book Example.
