Item Description
1.75" no maker. The 1950 Boston Red Sox finished in third place in the American League with a record of 94-60 under National Baseball Hall of Fame manager, Joe McCarthy. Stars of that ball club were the four individuals named on this unique button, Walt Dropo (1B), Vern Stephens (SS), Dom DiMaggio (OF) and Johnny Pesky (3B) along with future Hall of Famers, Bobby Doerr and Ted Williams. Walt Dropo would take home the AL Rookie of the Year award in 1950. Small all over air spots show in reflected light but totally clean and high gloss. Exc. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
