Item Description
1.75" with Los Angeles Badge & Novelty Co. back paper. The 1909 Los Angeles Angels ball club was a member of the Class A Pacific Coast League, finishing in third place that season with a record of 118-97 under manager, Pop Dillon. The PCL season was a total of 215 games, an unheard of number in today's game. The Angels club boasted a total of 14 ballplayers who would go on to play Major League baseball with the most noteworthy being Pop Dillon and Dolly Gray. Two small surface paper loss areas one of which took a few letters off the company name. Front has all over but quite light surface wear that catches reflected light. One 1/16" age dot on edge at 2 o'clock. VF. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
