Item Description
1.75" no maker with spring pin holding two ribbons and an elastic cord joined to wooden bat and plastic catcher's mitt with .5" spherical celluloid ball in the pocket. Lefty Gomez began his Major League Baseball career with the New York Yankees in 1930 and would spend his entire 13 year career with the them. Gomez was a 20-game winner on four different occasions and also led the American League in ERA twice. Gomez finished with a career record of 189-102 along with a 3.34 ERA and 1,468 strikeouts and was elected to the National Baseball hall of Fame in 1972.
