Item Description
1.75" no maker with spring pin holding two ribbons and plastic ball and glove. Joe DiMaggio began his Major League Baseball career with the New York Yankees in 1936 after several seasons with the San Francisco Seals of the Pacific Coast League. DiMaggio provided a glimpse of his future greatness when he batted .323 as a rookie along with 125 RBI's. Over the next 13 seasons, "Joltin Joe" would lead the Yankees to championship after championship and retired with career numbers of: 325 BA, 361 HR's and 1,537 RBI's. DiMaggio would win three American League MVP awards and finished second in the voting on two other occasions, ultimately being selected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1955. Tiny air dot on the bridge of his nose and a larger spot on background at 11 o'clock. These show mainly in reflected light along with some very minimal and normal surface wear. No stain.
