Item Description
1.25". No maker. Somehow this was produced reading "Champio" instead of "Champion". The 1941 Brooklyn Dodgers won the National League pennant with a final record of 100-54 under National Baseball Hall of Fame manager Leo Durocher. The offense was led by a quartet of future HOF'ers: Joe Medwick, Paul Waner, Pee Wee Reese and Billy Herman. Brooklyn would go on to lose the 1941 World Series, 4 games to 1, to the powerful New York Yankees club. Glossy, Exc. An oddity for the "Bums" collector. Paul Muchinsky Collection Book Example.
