Item Description
2-1/8" w/curl naming Lewis, Swift & Co. St. Paul. Portrait of Olmstead surrounded by text "Minneapolis Tribune For Best Baseball News/Unhittable In The Pinches-Olmstead." Fred Olmstead spent a total of 10 seasons as a professional baseball pitcher, with only parts of four seasons coming in the Major Leagues, Fred did own a couple of 20 win campaigns while in the minors, 1906 for Springfield, 1909 for Minneapolis and 1912, again for Minneapolis. His Major League career record ended at 19-20 with a 2.74 ERA. Reverse has 1/32" cello split by collet. Front has just a couple pinpoint gray dots on extreme edge, barely seen. Exc.
