Item Description
1.25" w/W&H back paper. Photo portrait of manager Bill Phillips w/text above "Champions Central League." along with bundle of cigars image at bottom to symbolize team name. Has the look of similar team sets of the era (like the previous lot) but this is believed to be the only button made for this team. The 1909 Wheeling Stogies won the Class B - Central League title with a final record of 83-50 (and repeated again the following year).
