Item Description
From same rare series as previous lot. 1.25" w/fixed horizontal bar pin and back paper reading "Compliments of Jake Stenzel, B.B. Exchange Opposite Ball Park" plus makers name "Pettibone Cin'ti." Noodles Hahn was a top flight starting pitcher for the 1904 Reds, finishing with a respectable won-loss record of 16-18 and a fine ERA of 2.06. Hahn would pitch for eight Major League seasons, winning 20 or more games an amazing four times. Back paper has darkened. All readable except words "Opposite" and "Ball". Celluloid has light tan age tone around the collet with just the slightest trace of tone on front extreme edge. No age spots and still full gloss. VF. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
