Item Description
From same rare series as previous two lots. 1.25" w/fixed horizontal bar pin and back paper reading "Compliments of Jake Stenzel, B.B. Exchange Opposite Ball Park" plus makers name "Pettibone Cin'ti." Starting pitcher Jack Harper had by far his best season on the mound for the Cincinnati Reds during 1904, finishing with a record of 23-9 with an ERA of 2.30 and 125 strikeouts. Harper finished his eight year Major League career with a record of 80-64 with a career ERA of 3.55. Slight darkening of back paper with darker .25" spot upper left. Celluloid has very slight dent that can be felt on lower left quadrant.  Some small scratches catch reflected light. VF. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
