Item Description
From same rare and desirable set as previous two lots. 1.25" w/W&H back paper. Bobby Byrne was a third baseman for the 1909 Pittsburgh Pirates ball club, finishing the season with a .256 batting average to go along with 31 runs scored and 8 stolen bases. Byrne would go on to lead the National League in base hits and doubles the following season, 1910. Light stain on extreme left edge from 7-11 o'clock. Rest is glossy. VF. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
