Item Description
From same rare and desirable set as previous lot. 1.25" missing W&H back paper. Babe Adams was one of the top starting pitchers for the 1909 Pittsburgh Pirates ball club, finishing the season with a record of 12-3 along with an amazing 1.11 ERA. Adams would go on to an outstanding career, finishing with a total of 194 wins and a career ERA of 2.76. Has one diagonal scratch on far right of face but just showing in reflected light. Exc.
