1.25" w/Phila. Badge Co. back paper. From the era when the Brooklyn Dodgers franchise was named the "Robins" after their Hall of Fame manager, Wilbert Robinson. Dazzy Vance was a top starting pitcher for the Brooklyn ball club of the National League for 11 seasons, primarily during the 1920s, winning more than 20 games on three different occasions and leading the league in ERA three times and strikeouts for seven consecutive seasons. Vance was named the National League's Most Valuable Player in 1924 and ultimately elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY in 1955.  Reverse has one tiny 1/16" hairline cello split by the collet.
