Item Description
7/8" no maker. Harry Smythe was an MLB pitcher for only three seasons early in his playing career before settling in as a consistent starting pitcher in the minor leagues throughout the 1920s, 1930s and even into the 1940s. Harry would finish as one of the leading winners in minor league history with a total of 289 victories. The Baltimore Orioles recognized his contributions with a day in his honor during 1933, where this single day issue button was offered. Exc. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
